Are you interested in a COMMUNITY ALARM, LINKLINE or CARELINE?
If you or someone you care for needs help or advice on how to continue living independently, please phone our helpline on 0800 085 6323, or one of the phone numbers below. You are most important to us, and the main reason we are trying to promote awareness of Telecare and Telehealth.
As expected, 2008 has proved to be a busy year for London Telecare, which was highlighted in our contribution to the Telecare Services Association Annual Conference in Brighton in November (see News page).
London Telecare is the organisation representing the Telecare Services operated by all of London's boroughs. It is dedicated to raising awareness of telecare and telehealth services, through advertising and promotion across London and the Home Counties, using a combination of posters, leaflets and exhibition materials. Some of our posters are displayed opposite.
You will find some useful information on our website which will help you to understand what Telecare is all about, and how you can access these services through your local Council.
In the following web pages, we show examples of life situations that you might recognise for yourself, a relative, neighbour or friend. You can ask for further information about your local Telecare service by calling our Helpdesk on 0800 085 6323. Friendly and experienced staff will put you in touch with your nearest Telecare Centre.
More of us are living longer, and everyone would wish to remain living at home, leading an independent life. Telecare can help you achieve this.
Ring the number above - and help will just be a phone call away.
